Affiliate Crazy Greatness- Day 7

Q1

What a wonderful question! It does seem intimidating because it feels like you are completing with a lot of big dogs.

Sooo….What does happens when sixty people are promoting a product? You risk being drowned in the throng, that’s what.
So how do you get people to click-through on your link?
There are three key ingredients here…

  • Can you show others that you can be trusted?—how well and automatically people trust you and look to you first
  • How irresistible you make it to click immediately on your link, without looking for further proof
  • How easy you make it to buy through you

The trusting part you build on every day. How easy you make it is a combination of what a good experience people had when they clicked through on one of your links “last time” and making sure there are no complications or distractions.

As for being irresistible , that may be simpler than you think. Let your audience know that if they buy through you, they will also get a valuable bonus.

This bonus should be so good that they would be tempted to buy just the bonus, if it was for sale. It can either enhance or complement the product or just add another layer of richness and depth to their experience with that product.

(And incidentally, the bonus is the sort of thing that does tempt potential JV partners, if you make the bonus available exclusively to their list.)

Want to go one step further? Not only promote the product , but use it and review it or do a case study on it.

You can write out a review, or actually walk through the product or a video will be just fine.

I know one guy who does this very well.

They call him Mike from Maine.

And he does this very well. In fact ..the majority of his income is just reviews.

How do I know this?

He displays his income reports. He wants us to know what is working and what isn’t.

That is an example of transparency and being trustworthy and that is why people trust him.

He also has his story on his page and people can relate to what he has been through.

He shares everything here….
